Samty Residential Investment Corporation, recognizing the importance of personal information, will carry out the following actions to safeguard personal information in a responsible and appropriate manner.
1. Action Policy
Samty Residential Investment Corporation, recognizing that the appropriate use and safeguarding of personal information is an important social responsibility, will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information as well as other related laws, regulations and guidelines during the course of its operations.
2. Collection of Personal Information
Samty Residential Investment Corporation, when collecting personal information, will collect said information within the scope necessary for fulfilling the stipulated purpose of use through appropriate and legal means.
3. Purpose of Use
Samty Residential Investment Corporation shall use personal information only within the scope defined in the purpose of use and shall not use personal information beyond this purpose, except where allowed for by law.
4. Restrictions on Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Samty Residential Investment Corporation will not provide personal data to third parties without the approval of the individual, excluding the following cases.

|(2)||When disclosure or provision is based on laws and regulations|

|(5)||When it is necessary to cooperate with national administrative organs, local governments or parties entrusted by them in conducting administrative operations designated by laws and regulations, in cases when obtaining consent from relevant individuals may cause problems in conducting such operations|
|(6)||When Samty Residential Investment Corporation provides personal information to subcontractors which it supervises appropriately, within the scope necessary for achieving the purposes of use|
|(7)||When disclosure or provision is otherwise approved by laws and regulations, etc.|
5. Disclosure, Revision, Addition, Deletion or Suspension or Termination of Use of Personal Information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information
Samty Residential Investment Corporation will accommodate requests from an individual for the disclosure, revision, addition, deletion, or suspension or termination of use of their personal information held by Samty Residential Investment Corporation and the asset management company, general administrative agent, and asset custodian (hereinafter, “outsourcers”) in a timely manner within the scope deemed reasonable and necessary. Samty Residential Investment Corporation will verify the identity of the individual when carrying out various procedures.
Procedures for disclosure will require the payment of the prescribed fees levied by Samty Residential Investment Corporation and its outsourcers.
6. Secure Management of Personal Information
Samty Residential Investment Corporation and its outsourcers will carry out rigorous management to ensure that the personal data of individuals are kept accurate and up to date and will implement preventive and security measures against illegal access, loss, destruction, modification or leakage of personal information. Additionally, Samty Residential Investment Corporation, when outsourcing the collection and management of personal information to a third party, will supervise the outsourcer to ensure that personal data are managed with the same rigorous controls.
7. Continual Review of Personal Information Protection System
Samty Residential Investment Corporation will work to continuously review and improve regulations concerning the handling of personal information of Samty Residential Investment Corporation and its outsourcers to ensure the continual effective and proper implementation of these regulations.
8. Collection of Sensitive Information
Samty Residential Investment Corporation will not collect, use, or provide to third parties any information on political affiliation, religious beliefs (including religion, religious thoughts, and creed), participation in labor unions, race, ethnic group, family origin, legal address, medical information, sexual orientation, and criminal records, unless required by law or such information is necessary in order to conduct business to fulfill the designated purpose of use.
Purposes of Use of Personal Information
Samty Residential Investment Corporation will use the personal information it has obtained only within the scope of the following purposes.
|(1)||Disclosure of information controls, attribute analysis and other data concerning unitholders of Samty Residential Investment Corporation (however, disclosures will not be made so that individuals can be identified, excluding publication of the primary unitholders [top 10] on Samty Residential Investment Corporation’s website)|
|(2)||For operations concerning the exercising of rights in Samty Residential Investment Corporation by unitholders and for Samty Residential Investment Corporation to fulfill its obligations to unitholders|
|(3)||For operations concerning necessary research and analysis (including but not limited to personal identification, credit research and studies on rights) for reviewing the acquisition or sale of real estate and trust beneficiary rights secured by real estate (hereinafter “real estate trust beneficiary rights;” real estate used as trust assets will be referred to as “real estate in trust”) or other assets by Samty Residential Investment Corporation and for the fulfillment of contracts related to such acquisitions or sales (communication, inquiries, registration, etc.)|
|(4)||For operations concerning necessary research (including but not limited to personal identification and credit research ) for reviewing the lease of real estate, real estate in trust and other related assets owned by Samty Residential Investment Corporation and for the fulfillment of contracts related to such leases (communication, inquiries, registration, etc.)|
|(5)||For operations concerning the management of real estate or real estate in trust owned by Samty Residential Investment Corporation|
|(6)||For operations concerning the confirmation, meeting or meeting records of individuals making an inquiry, visitors or individuals requesting information from Samty Residential Investment Corporation and its outsourcers|
|(7)||For operations concerning the financial instruments business for other real estate, marketable securities, and other assets|
|(8)||For operations concerning the implementation of measures (information provision activities, etc.) for facilitating the relationship between unitholders and potential unitholders and Samty Residential Investment Corporation|
|(9)||For personal identification of counterparties in transactions in accordance with the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds|
|(10)||For use in market trend analysis for the above operations, customer satisfaction surveys and research and analysis for product development|
|(11)||For fulfilling the obligations, executing the rights and other ancillary responses of Samty Residential Investment Corporation|
|(12)||For providing to third parties within the necessary scope for carrying out appropriate business operations|
|(13)||For making requests for advice from external experts, such as attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, tax counsellors, real estate appraisers, and judicial scriveners for achieving the above purposes|
